In the fiercely competitive overseas engineering equipment market, repeat purchases from customers are the highest recognition of a company’s strength. EPDAS has earned the deep trust of its Philippine customers through its professional equipment solutions and end-to-end service capabilities. Following a successful initial purchase in December 2024, the customer ordered a second CBP60 foundation-free concrete batching plant in November 2025. This represents two successful transactions for the CBP60 foundation-free concrete batching plant within just one year.

Among the various advantages of the CBP60 batching plant, the “foundation-free” design is undoubtedly the most disruptive innovation. It fundamentally changes the traditional installation mode of concrete batching plants, bringing revolutionary efficiency improvements and cost savings to construction companies. This design is not simply a structural simplification, but a mature technology developed through repeated research and testing based on EPDAS’s years of engineering experience and deep understanding of overseas construction scenarios.

The core principle of the foundation free concrete batching plant is the use of a high-strength modular steel structure. The weight of the mixing unit, batching machine, cement silo, and other equipment is directly transferred to the ground through outriggers. Adjustable pads are provided at the bottom of the outriggers to adjust the equipment’s level and distribute pressure. The equipment requires only the following site conditions: a ground bearing capacity of no less than 150 kPa and a surface flatness error of no more than 10 mm; no complex foundation treatment is needed.

At the client’s new construction site in the Philippines, site preparation involved only the following steps: First, the site was leveled with a bulldozer, removing topsoil and weeds, taking one day; then, a 30cm thick gravel layer was laid and compacted with a road roller to enhance the ground bearing capacity, taking one day; finally, a 20cm thick C25 concrete hardening layer was poured on top of the gravel layer to ensure ground flatness, taking two days; the equipment could be installed after three days of curing the concrete hardening layer. The entire site preparation process took only seven days and cost only US$30,000-50,000, saving 70% of the cost and 70% of the time compared to traditional foundation construction.

The modular steel structure design of the CBP60 concrete plant not only achieves foundation-free installation but also possesses extremely high structural stability and durability. The main frame of the equipment is made of Q355B high-strength steel, which has a yield strength of 355MPa, 20% higher than ordinary steel, effectively withstanding vibrations and loads during equipment operation.

The modular design of the concrete mixing plant also demonstrates significant advantages in terms of installation and commissioning. The equipment is disassembled into multiple standardized modules, including a mixing host module, a batching machine module, a cement silo module, a screw conveyor module, and a control room module. The weight and dimensions of each module are rigorously designed for overseas transport and on-site hoisting.

In the installation at the new construction site in the Philippines, only one 25-ton crane and five workers were needed to complete the hoisting and assembly of the equipment. The installation process was as follows: First, the mixing host module was fixed, leveled, and the outriggers were tightened, taking one day; then, the batching machine module was installed and connected to the conveyor belt of the mixing host, taking one day; next, the cement silo module and screw conveyor were installed and connected to the feed inlet of the mixing host, taking two days; finally, the control room module was installed, the electrical wiring and control system were connected, and commissioning was carried out, taking three days. The entire installation and commissioning process takes only 7 days, reducing the installation time by more than 50% compared to the 15-20 days required for traditional batching plants.

The foundation free batching plant shipped this time continues the customized service concept. The cement silo layout was adjusted to better suit the characteristics of the client’s new construction site, making it more compatible with the on-site construction process. At the same time, the remote operation and maintenance function of the control system was upgraded, facilitating centralized management of multiple devices for the client. The five sets of vertical sheet cement silos are treated with anti-corrosion coatings, adapting to the humid and rainy climate of the Philippines and extending the equipment’s service life.

EPDAS’ professional services are also reflected in its full-chain support. In addition to the batching plant, the sand and gravel separator provided to the client enables the recycling of sand and gravel resources, reducing raw material costs; the 10-ton ice-making unit effectively controls the concrete pouring temperature and improves project quality in the high-temperature climate of the Philippines. From single equipment supply to full-process solutions, EPDAS practices the “customer first” philosophy with its professional capabilities, becoming a trusted construction equipment partner for overseas clients.
